Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Production Operative with FLT for a company based in Runcorn.
The position is ongoing with a possibility of going into a permanent contract for suitable candidates.
Purpose of the role:
To manufacture fluoropolymer coatings ensuring all products/goods/materials are manufactured to the highest quality/most efficient manner.
Main responsibilities:
- To process/manufacture products to the highest quality, as per IFS Shop Orders, following all Shop Order instructions as per each guideline(s) shown on the Shop Order/Process Control System.
- To advise ASAP on any of the quality issues/shortages of raw materials/ consumables/ intermediate bases/finish goods to the Production Manager/Shift Managers.
- To assist to continually improve/advise on all procedures in the Work areas.
- To ensure responsibility for your FLT/Reach trucks safety and the daily checks.
- Clean and maintain all equipment in the line with 5s requirement as part of the working day.
- To help maintain daily audit data as per SQCPD requirements.
- Adhere to and manage the health and safety guidelines as determined by the Health and Safety Policy and the finding of any subsequent risk assessments
- Promote best health and safety within the team.
- Carry out such additional duties as may reasonably be required by Production Manager/ Shift managers.
- To adhere to PPG Whitford code and conduct in compliance with existing Whitford UK policies.
Requirements:
Essential
- FLT License (Counterbalance is essential & Reach License is preferable).
- Ability to process/manage Lean principles.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a fast paced, high achieving team.
- Good organisational skills.
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week on rotating shifts
- 6am - 2pm
- 1pm - 9pm
Pay rate:
- £13.48 ph on the morning shift
- £15.88 ph on the afternoon shift
