£25,000 – £28,000 Depending on Experience

Reporting to: Operations Manager and Logistics Supervisor

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join our Leigh team. The role involves supporting warehouse and manufacturing activities, including assisting other functions like sales, logistics, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and label goods for dispatch under supervision, maintaining FIFO
• Provide cover for absence in warehouse and manufacturing
• Maintain logistics areas, ensuring cleanliness
• Participate in decanting operations
• Package and dispatch product samples, maintain records
• Assist with stock takes

Training Provided:

• Product recognition, manufacturing, dispatch procedures, hazard labelling, carrier selection
• Fork Lift Truck Licence (2.2 tonne), manual handling
• Basic MS Excel, enterprise software
• COSHH, dangerous goods training
• ISO 9001 procedures, internal auditing
• Sample preparation and dispatch

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing or chemical handling preferred
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Fork Lift Truck licence (Reach and Counterbalance) desirable but not essential
