Cpl Life Sciences are looking to recruit an Engineering Technician to join a Pharmaceutical organization based in Greater London.
This role is responsible for production-related equipment on both manufacturing and packaging machinery. You will be expected to carry out engineering activities in a GMP-compliant manner.
This is a full-time, permanent position, on-site: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance, fault finding, and repair of manufacturing/packaging equipment
- Ensuring compliance with GMP standards
- Developing and reviewing engineering plans and procedures
- Implementing reactive and planned maintenance strategies
- Assessing critical spare requirements, shutdown plans, and workload
- Supporting deviation investigations
- Maintaining a safe working environment and reporting incidents correctly
Skills and qualifications:
- Time served apprenticeship or relevant experience (City & Guilds, BTEC Level 3, or relevant technical equivalent)
- Fault finding ability
- Proven experience in writing and reviewing GMP documentation
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, ideally Pharmaceutical
- Adaptable to changing needs of a production engineering department
