Responsibilities
- Coordinating practical science preparation across departments
- Supporting Biology, Chemistry, and Physics teachers
- Overseeing lab safety, COSHH compliance, and risk assessments
- Ordering and managing equipment and chemical stock
- Mentoring junior technicians (where applicable)
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience as a Science Technician in a secondary school
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
