Content Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover – 12 Month FTC)

About the Role

Gleeson Recruitment Group is looking for a talented Content Marketing Executive to join our growing marketing team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a dynamic recruitment organisation, working alongside a creative in-house team..
We\’re looking for someone analytical, creative, and eager to learn – someone who gets excited about performance stats and ROI, and who stays ahead of industry changes like AI-driven search results.

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Create compelling content across multiple formats including blogs, case studies, white papers, social media, and video content
• Brief and collaborate with our in-house graphic designer, freelance videographer, and freelance copywriter to bring ideas to life
• Review and proofread content to ensure it\’s on-brand, error-free, and optimised for performance
• Track and analyse content performance metrics, staying on top of the stats and demonstrating clear ROI
• Optimise for SEO and keep pace with evolving search trends, including AI search results
• Develop strong creative briefs that inspire great work from the team
• Support lead generation efforts through strategic content that drives conversions
• Distribute content effectively across social media, email, and other B2B channels

What We\’re Looking For

Essential:

• Strong copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail
• Analytical mindset – you\’re comfortable with performance stats and using data to drive decisions
• A personality that\’s open to learning and adapting to new trends and technologies
• Ability to create strong, clear creative briefs
• Project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Desirable (but not essential):

• E-commerce experience
• B2B marketing background
• SEO knowledge and experience
• Recruitment industry experience (though this is not required!)
