SNG (Sovereign Network Group) is one of the largest housing associations in England. We provide over 85,000 homes and invest in communities across the South, West and East of England, including London, as well as building thousands of new affordable homes every year. We have an opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our Investment and Development team.

The Role: As an Executive Assistant, you'll provide high-quality personal, secretarial, and administrative support to the Executive Director. This is a trusted role at the heart of the organisation, requiring excellent judgement, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a confidential and professional manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop into a wider role within the Investment and Development team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing confidential, high-quality personal assistance and administrative support to the Executive Director.
  • Managing a complex diary, coordinating meetings, travel, and accommodation arrangements.
  • Monitoring and reviewing departmental expenditure against agreed budgets and supporting forecasting activity.
  • Providing full secretariat support to the Departmental Leadership Team, including preparation of reports.
  • Preparing agendas and papers and taking minutes for Management Boards and Committee meetings as required.
  • Producing and maintaining an annual timetable of all Board, Committee, Team, and other internal meetings.

What we're looking for:

  • Familiarity with financial and investment concepts OR understanding of the affordable housing development sector.
  • Exceptional organisational and diary management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex schedules and competing priorities.
  • Strong written communication: drafting correspondence, preparing board-level papers, and producing accurate minutes.
  • High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professional judgement when managing sensitive information.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leaders, external partners, and board members.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong digital proficiency, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AI) and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage and track actions across multiple projects and workstreams.
