Residential Surveyor in Swindon

Residential Surveyor Role: We are looking for an experienced MRICS Residential Surveyor to join our growing independent practice. The role will primarily involve residential surveying and valuation work, alongside developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the business. The role will include: * Undertaking RICS pre-purchase Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys. * Undertaking Red Book Valuations including Capital Gains Tax, probate, Help to Buy and Shared Ownership valuations. (We don't undertake valuations for lending purposes currently.) * Insurance reinstatement/BCIS assessments. * Leasehold extension valuations. * Specific Defect Surveys and claims investigations. * Liaising with existing clients, professional contacts and suppliers. * Generating leads and undertaking appropriate business development activity. * Peer to Peer Supervision and involvement in our Wyvern Surveyors, Future Surveyors - Built Here initiative. The geographical coverage will primarily include BS, BA, GL and SN postcodes. We would look to develop the successful candidate's core workload particularly within the SN and GL areas, although they would also be expected to provide cover across the wider area during busy periods and colleagues' annual leave. The salary and benefits package is as follows: * Basic salary dependent upon experience. * Commission of 20% on net invoiced fees generated above £120,000. * An additional 10% "super bonus" on net fees generated above £130,000 between 1 January and 31 December, paid quarterly rather than annually. * Car allowance of £375 per calendar month, or an electric company car to an equivalent value plus VAT, currently £450 per month. * RICS professional membership fees paid. * 30 days' annual leave, excluding statutory bank holidays. * Core working hours Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm, based on a 37.5-hour contractual working week. * Annual salary and cost-of-living review. * Private healthcare, including dental cover. * Life insurance. * Workplace pension scheme. * Ongoing professional development and CPD. * A strong commitment to employee health and wellbeing.
