Our client is seeking a fully qualified Electrician, preferably with experience in Voids unoccupied properties carrying out full rewires, fuse boards changes and monitoring of ventilation upgrades/systems. You will be working on domestic and social housing properties on a temporary assignment for up to 3-4 weeks, maybe longer. Start date - Monday, 2nd March for up to 4 weeks' work. Location - covering social housing and domestic unoccupied/Voids properties in Newport and the surrounding areas. Must have own van, pay for your own fuel to jobs and have your own tools. Hours - 8 am-4 pm - Monday to Friday. Pay - Up to £225 per day.
Responsibilities
- Full rewires, ventilation and aco monitoring systems (damp & moisture).
- Working in mainly voids/unoccupied properties.
- Some reactive works potentially.
- Excellent attention to detail and a team player.
- Various lighting upgrades.
- Extractor fan replacements.
- Test and inspection.
Requirements
- Experience with domestic properties (Ideally 6-7 years).
- Experience with full rewire installations and Ventilation systems.
Qualifications required
- NVQ Level 3.
- 18th Edition.
- AM2.
- 2391.
- CSCS OR ECS Card.
