We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Professional to support the safe delivery of construction projects, ensuring compliance with UK health & safety legislation while promoting a positive safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead health & safety across multiple construction projects.
- Develop and implement Construction Phase Plans, RAMS and site-specific safety procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations and ensure RIDDOR compliance where applicable.
- Advise project teams, clients and subcontractors on health & safety best practice and regulatory compliance.
- Lead Operational Risk Management (ORM) processes and support project risk assessments.
- Deliver health & safety training, briefings and toolbox talks.
- Promote continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015, the Health and Safety at Work Act, and ISO 45001 standards.
About You
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (Diploma desirable) or equivalent H&S qualification.
- Experience in construction, electrical, industrial or infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, RAMS, incident investigations and UK H&S legislation.
- Experience with ISO 45001 and safety management systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to obtain security clearance is essential.
