Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks effectively.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing infrastructure and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair processes.
- Assist in the assembly of plumbing components and related mechanical systems.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools, materials, or equipment as required.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or repair roles.
- Proficiency with welding techniques and the use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing systems and related mechanical components.
- Normal plumbing hand tools for copper press fit plumbing install and plastic SVP systems, we supply press guns.
- PPE required boots and eye protection and gloves, hat and hi vis supplied FOC
