WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for an experienced roofer to join our client's team, carrying out a wide range of roofing works across residential properties. The role involves working on tiled, slated and flat roofs, completing leadwork such as flashings, carrying out repairs to chimneys, brickwork, valleys and verges, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. You'll be expected to work safely at height, follow all SHEQ requirements, and deliver quality workmanship in line with company policies and contract specifications.
YOU'LL NEED:
- Relevant roofing experience
- NVQ Diploma in Roofing Occupations (preferred)
- Full, UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
- Professional attitude and strong customer care skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Proof of right to work in the UK
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carrying out roofing works including tiled, slated and flat roofs
- Completing leadwork, flashing repairs, chimney and brickwork repairs
- Working safely at height using appropriate safety equipment
- Ensuring first-time fix wherever possible
- Maintaining company van and equipment
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and office staff as required
- Coordinating materials and completing required documentation accurately and on time
You’ll be paid weekly based on a signed timesheet.
