Our client is seeking a fully qualified Electrician, preferably with experience in Voids unoccupied properties carrying out full rewires, fuse boards changes and monitoring of ventilation upgrades/systems. You will be working on domestic and social housing properties on a temporary assignment for up to 4 weeks, maybe longer.

Start date - March - ASAP for up to 4 weeks' work. Location - covering social housing and domestic unoccupied/Voids properties in Newport and the surrounding areas. Must have own van, pay for your own fuel to jobs and have your own tools. Hours - 8 am-4 pm - Monday to Friday. Pay - Up to £230 per day.

Responsibilities:
  • Full rewires, ventilation and aco monitoring systems (damp & moisture).
  • Working in mainly voids/unoccupied properties.
  • Some reactive works potentially.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a team player.
  • Various lighting upgrades.
  • Extractor fan replacements.
  • Test and inspection.
Requirements:
  • Experience with domestic properties (Ideally 6-7 years).
  • Experience with full rewire installations and Ventilation systems.
Qualifications required:
  • NVQ Level 3
  • 18th Edition
  • AM22391
  • CSCS OR ECS Card
