Our client is a thriving groundwork, civil, drainage and maintenance company based in Cove, Hampshire. We are looking for an experienced PA to provide administrative support to our Company Director and Estimator.

As a personal assistant, you will need to provide administrative support to the Company Director by dealing with a range of administrative tasks. The role requires contact with senior management and customers, and you will therefore have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

This role will include but is not limited to:

  • General office administration including answering the phone, meeting and greeting customers and clients, dealing with suppliers, and handling incoming and outgoing post
  • Checking and dealing with emails and inboxes
  • Answering the telephone, taking messages, and transferring calls
  • Appointment making, travel arrangements, meeting coordination and diary management
  • Logging new enquiries and dealing with Job logic
  • Preparing documentation for meetings/new contracts
  • Keeping minutes of meetings
  • Good research skills and the ability to report findings
  • Taking a proactive role in improving business systems and operating procedures
  • Joint responsibility for maintaining effective organisation throughout the office and general levels of tidiness

Skills and Experience to Include:

  • PA experience essential
  • Excellent working knowledge of the MS Office Package (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Job logic
  • Hard working and flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative, prioritise effectively with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent rapport face to face and over the phone
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and professional in approach and demeanour

To be successful in this role you will ideally:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Be trustworthy, honest and have integrity
  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Demonstrate commitment to exceeding expectations and goals
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be conscientious, approachable, and enthusiastic

Need to live within 30 minutes drive to Farnborough, GU14 postcode.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000 - £34,000 /year
