We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled professional to manage small to medium sized projects. In this role, you will serve as the technical lead, act as the primary point of contact, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work independently with the design team and collaborate closely with senior management to maintain project scope and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage small to medium sized projects from inception to completion.
- Serve as the technical lead and primary point of contact on projects.
- Independently coordinate with the design team and complete technical drawings and fire strategies with minimal oversight.
- Prepare fee proposals and provide prompt responses to correspondence (including holding emails when necessary).
- Manage client expectations and communications effectively.
- Liaise with and lead submissions/communications with approving authorities, with support from senior management as required.
- Monitor project financials and scope, ensuring adherence to established constraints.
- Alert senior management or directors immediately if any project parameters are at risk of being exceeded.
- Maintain project documentation by saving meeting minutes and ensuring that project folders are up to date with all relevant information in the correct format.
- Ensure all work time is accurately recorded on timesheets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance both individual and team technical knowledge.
- Dedicate available time to improving technical skills and maintaining a record of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
- Achieve an efficiency level of at least 85% billable time (excluding Annual Leave, Sickness, and Training).
