We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Trade Operative in Voids and reactive works (Plumbing background with NVQ) to join our team permanently for multi-trade works across multiple social housing, local authority, void and occupied properties.

You will be an experienced Multi Operative with strong experience within voids and reactive works, and great experience within plumbing, carpentry, plastering, electrics, and maintenance, ideally covering areas around the Bristol/Bath region, including Wiltshire, Yeovil, Bristol, Stroud, Clevedon, and surrounding areas along the M4 corridor.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform voids and reactive works to occupied and unoccupied properties
  • Utilise hand and power tools effectively for various tasks, including painting and decorating, replacing door handles and fixings, basic plumbing, plastering, and carpentry
  • Drive to job sites as required on emergency sites, maintaining a valid driving license

This is a permanent position with a forward-thinking company.

Requirements:

  • Proven plumbing and multi-trade experience in voids, unoccupied properties, and domestic properties
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 6 years of social housing/local authority experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be okay to travel up to 1.5 hours maximum to a job
  • Must have own set of tools
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing

Experience:

  • Social housing/local authority: 6 years (preferred)
  • Carpentry: 5 years
  • Painting and decorating: 6 years
  • Voids and reactive experience: 6 years
  • Multi-trade: 6 years (preferred)

Pay & Hours: Up to £42,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Van and fuel card provided.
