We’re expanding our design team in London and are looking for Senior / Lead Industrial Designers of all genders, nationalities and backgrounds to help us invent groundbreaking products. Our audience is global, and tech needs new voices at the table, so we’re serious about building a talented team with a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives.
As an Industrial Designer at Nothing, you’ll be central to shaping the look and feel of our products and will work from our studio in King’s Cross, London. This is a full-time, in-office role; we offer flexibility around personal needs, but being physically present is where our team thrives.
As a team, our design practice covers a wide range of disciplines - Industrial Design, Engineering, Experience & Interaction Design, CMF, Connectivity, Sound, Emerging Technologies and more. In addition to your core skills as an Industrial Designer, we’re interested to hear about your own interests and how they might contribute to our technological re-invention.

- A drive to own projects from start to finish, taking full responsibility for the quality and timing of your output.
- Learning through making, without only relying on computational tools.
- Track record in producing consumer electronics, with a deep understanding of how things are actually made.
- Good working understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
And as an Industrial Designer you are responsible for:
- Creating ID intent CAD, including delivery of production-ready A surfaces
- Selecting materials and finishing techniques
- Working with Hardware Engineers, CMF specialists, Experience Designers, Technologists and Packaging Engineers
- Designing around manufacturing and technical constraints
- Travelling to suppliers and manufacturing sites when required
