About the team
We're a small Marketing team writing for a global audience, and we move fast because we're small and independent. Right now we're solving three hard problems at once: holding one sharp, culture-aware voice steady across a growing list of touchpoints — social, CRM, PDPs, scripts, reviewers' guides — through launch after launch; turning dense software and hardware features into copy people actually want to read; and keeping quality high and consistent across regional teams and outside partners who each write their own way. You'll sit close to launches and help shape how Nothing sounds at every step.
What you'll do
- Assist in developing brand moments across the funnel and our messaging platforms for product launches, from broad creative territories down to the tactical KSPs that make a product land.
- Write about software and hardware features for retail environments, in a voice that's brand-led, culture-aware, and easy to read.
- Support in writing across social, CRM, PDPs, reviewers' guides and scripts — adapting tone and length to each without losing the thread.
- Proofread content coming from regional teams, external partners, software and social.
- Partner with functions across the business to make internal-facing copy clear and useful, addressing what each stakeholder actually needs.
- Bring a point of view on arts, fashion, music and consumer tech into the work, so the copy feels current, not generic.
What we're looking for
- Around 3 years writing professionally — journalism, creative writing, copywriting, or a mix.
- A genuine interest in arts, fashion and music, plus real literacy in the consumer tech landscape.
- The ability to take something complex and make it simple, without dumbing it down.
- Comfort working across many formats and many stakeholders at once, keeping the voice consistent throughout.
- Bonus: wider knowledge of global markets like India, the EU and the USA, and active engagement in London's cultural community.
Why Nothing
We're building something better, and the words matter as much as the product. This is a chance to shape how Nothing sounds at the moments that count most — launches, retail, the things people actually see — and to do it with a team that cares about craft. You'll write a lot, learn fast, and see your work go live quickly.

- Day rate: £250–£350
