The Role:
- Platform Native: You’re platform-native — not just YouTube, but TikTok, Shorts, and Reels. You know what works where, why it works, and how to make content feel right for each feed.
- Personal Branding/Influencer Branding: You understand personal branding — what it takes to build trust and grow an audience around a person, not just a company.
- Directing Talent: You know how to direct talent — especially those who aren’t used to being on camera — and create a relaxed, natural, and compelling presence on screen.
- Storytelling Across All Platforms: You have strong storytelling instincts — whether it’s a 10-minute YouTube narrative or a 30-second TikTok punchline, you know how to hook an audience and deliver something worth sharing.
- Internet Culture: You understand internet culture — what’s trending, what’s tired, and what genuinely cuts through.
- End To End Production: You’re a hands-on creative: concepting, scripting, shooting, editing. You move fast, iterate confidently, and care deeply about quality and originality.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the content lead to build and execute the strategy for the CEO’s personal channels — with a mix of long-form YouTube and short-form TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
- Develop a pipeline of original content formats — blending thought leadership, behind-the-scenes, trend-reactive, and culturally aware storytelling.
- Write scripts and shape narratives that match the CEO’s voice, perspective, and energy.
- Direct shoots with the CEO and other team members — helping them feel confident and look natural on camera.
- Produce content from end to end: pitching ideas, scripting, directing, shooting, and working with editors to bring each piece to life.
- Track performance, interpret data, and use insights to iterate quickly and smartly across platforms.
- Stay on top of cultural moments, internet trends, and creator breakthroughs — and know when (and when not) to jump in.
- You’re a hands-on creative who can shoot and edit content yourself — fast, scrappy, and with taste.
Requirements:
- Experience as a creative producer, video journalist, or content lead — ideally for a founder, creator, or personality-driven channel.
- Strong grasp of YouTube, TikTok, Shorts, and Reels — including platform best practices, audience expectations, and creative formats.
- Excellent writing and scripting skills, with the ability to adapt voice and tone to match the CEO’s personality.
- Confident directing non-professional talent, and creating a relaxed, high-trust environment on set.
- Visual instincts — you know how to make things look good, move well, and feel culturally relevant.
- Ability to manage end-to-end production: from concept to execution, solo or with a team.
- Passion for tech, design, and culture — and plugged into what Gen Z and millennial audiences care about.
We are an equal opportunity employer and will always promote a more diverse and inclusive environment. We are committed to being a welcome employer for all candidates.
