About Nothing Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.

We’re building a different kind of technology company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do.

From the way our products look and feel to how we communicate and show up in culture, we believe technology should make you feel something.

Founded in London in 2020, we’ve grown from idea to global challenger in just a few years.

Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, and C Ventures, and investors like Tony Fadell (i Pod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’re now sold in 40+ markets with millions of users worldwide.

About the team Nothing makes hardware people actually care about and millions of them do.

The next chapter is software: paid products in AI productivity, a category full of well-funded incumbents moving fast.

A great product alone won't win it.

Someone has to find the people who'll pay, and build the engine that grows revenue from there.

This is a role for someone who wants to shape how growth works for our new products.

You'd be joining as the biggest decisions are still being made: how we position paid software from a brand built on hardware, which motions turn one of the strongest communities in consumer tech into subscribers, and how we launch against established players on dates that ride alongside our keynotes.

You'll have a seat at the table for all of it, co-authoring the strategy with senior leadership and then building it with your own hands.

This is a role for someone who wants to shape how growth works for our new products.

If that pulls at you rather than worries you, keep reading.

What you'll do Own the go-to-market for our new software products end to end, including positioning, messaging, channels, and sequencing, and own the revenue number that results.

Design the motions that turn millions of engaged hardware users into software revenue, working closely with our brand and marketing teams.

Build the growth engine hands-on: lifecycle and CRM, product-led loops, content, community, and paid where it earns its CAC.

Define who we're for: identify and segment our target prosumers, learn what they'll pay for and why they'd switch, and feed that signal back to your Product Manager partner so positioning and product evolve together.

Own growth analytics: define the funnel, make channel and spend decisions from CAC and LTV data rather than instinct Shape the playbook: the metrics, stack and operating rhythm you help define will outlive any single campaign and guide how we grow from here.

Take on high-stakes GTM projects across Nothing's wider portfolio, and ship launches against keynote dates.

What we're looking for You've been the first before, first growth or marketing hire, or founding team, at a company that scaled.

You know the difference between building the machine and operating inside one.

You've grown revenue for a consumer or prosumer subscription product: self-serve, individual buyers, freemium funnels.

You've owned go-to-market for a product launch, not just run campaigns inside an established engine.

You made the strategy calls and lived with the results.

You've worked in a small team, building the stack with your own hands, and holding the work to a high bar.

Big-company experience is welcome when it comes paired with genuine 01 building.

You're fluent in CAC, LTV, payback and cohort retention.

You've created metrics, stacks, playbooks other people still use.

You've also taught organisations what growth marketing is, and worked well alongside established brand and marketing teams.

You know what to prioritise and sequence.

We'll want to hear what you deliberately chose not to do, and why it was the right call.

How We Work We build better tech by moving fast.

That speed demands direct collaboration and shared creative energy.

We believe the best work happens when we're together.

Working

Pattern: This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days a week).

We move fast, and that means being physically present.

We design flexibility around personal needs, but we focus on the magic that sparks when we’re all in the same room.

How to prepare for a job interview at Nothing Technology

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Nothing Technology uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
