Physiotherapist (Location: Bridgwater, Somerset) About Us: We are a leading recruitment agency in the UK, specializing in Occupational Health roles. Our client is a prominent organization that focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of employees through expert clinical services and support, delivering tailored health programs to meet the specific needs of their workforce. Role Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary team at a key site in Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset. This is a part-time role, requiring 30 hours of work per week, with working hours on Mondays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Tuesdays to Thursdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The successful candidate will be an integral part of delivering exceptional Occupational Health services and will make a real difference to employees’ lives on site. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skills in a dynamic, supportive team environment, in a varied and exciting role. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor students throughout the year as opportunities arise. Key Responsibilities: * Provide accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders. * Classify presenting clinical conditions and determine work-relatedness. * Provide detailed reports to management following assessments and at discharge, outlining employees’ fitness to work and any necessary role adjustments. * Lead onsite exercise classes to aid rehabilitation for employees with MSK injuries. * Communicate effectively with the wider Occupational Health team. * Conduct DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments and offer advice on preventative measures. * Recommend changes or equipment after conducting DSE assessments. * Identify hazards within the workplace and assess the risk of aggravating musculoskeletal health issues. * Conduct ergonomic risk assessments with Safety Health & Environment advisors to identify workplace risks. * Provide the OH team with information on any required changes to work practices or environments. * Assist with the effective rehabilitation of staff with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not. * Maintain comprehensive records of assessments and treatment. * Collect statistical information for report generation and contribute to health promotion events. Skills & Qualifications: * Experience in conducting comprehensive clinical assessments. * Knowledge of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions and injuries, and associated treatment. * Experience with ergonomic assessments and workstation evaluations. * Ability to conduct face-to-face assessments and lead workshops. * Strong understanding of DSE assessments and health promotion. * Strong report writing skills and the ability to work autonomously. * Proficient IT skills and the ability to work remotely when needed. * Excellent understanding of patient confidentiality and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law. * Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. Master's degree (desirable). HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration. Salary & Benefits: We are offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time work), depending on experience and qualifications.
