We are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor / Occupational Health Nurse (RGN, OH qualified) to provide high-quality clinical Occupational Health services at a client site near Uxbridge, West London. This is a key Occupational Health role delivering medical assessments, health surveillance, safety-critical medicals, and workplace health support. You will work closely with client stakeholders to ensure a professional, compliant, and effective Occupational Health service. This role is ideal for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse or Occupational Health Advisor with strong case management and health surveillance experience looking for a part-time site-based role.
Responsibilities
- Carry out independent Occupational Health medical assessments (phone and face-to-face)
- Deliver health surveillance programmes in line with legislation and clinical standards
- Conduct safety-critical medicals and biological monitoring
- Provide Occupational Health case management support
- Complete and review pre-placement questionnaires (PPQs)
- Provide travel health advice to employees
- Support workplace health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
- Assist and support workplace first aiders
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health policies and clinical governance standards
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with NMC requirements
- Ensure clinical rooms and equipment are maintained, calibrated, and audit-ready
- Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure service delivery standards
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience working in Occupational Health
- Strong experience in case management and pre-placement questionnaires (PPQs)
- Experience delivering health surveillance and safety-critical medicals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage, prioritise, and organise your own workload
- Understanding of clinical governance and Occupational Health compliance
Desirable:
- Experience delivering biological monitoring
- Experience providing travel health advice
- Experience supporting workplace health promotion initiatives
Working Pattern – Occupational Health Role Uxbridge
Part-time: 2 days per week
Additional: 6 days per annum
Based fully on-site in Uxbridge
Working directly with client stakeholders and employees
