Overview
The Froster at Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) ensures that cakes of the highest quality are consistently created for our guests and contributes to superior service by meeting production demands. Following a strict proprietary recipe, NbC frosting methods and food safety standards, the Froster makes our signature frosting and utilizes standardized application techniques to frost all our delicious cakes. The Froster embodies NbC core values and demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Operate as a team member to support the team and guest needs with reliability, trust, responsiveness, and a mindset to put the good of the team or guest ahead of personal interests.
- Demonstrate humility, empathy, warmth, enthusiasm and optimism to build positive relationships with all team members and guests.
- Take initiative and ownership of responsibilities, maintain a strong sense of urgency, and adhere to NbC brand standards.
- Frost cakes using a strict proprietary recipe and standard application techniques while observing health and safety standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understand written and oral directions, interpret recipes, order tickets, operating procedures, and health and safety rules; apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
- Understand basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
- Perform repetitious tasks requiring precise and continuous movement of arms, wrists, hands and fingers.
- Lift items of moderate to heavy weight (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Maintain exact measurements, precise timing and manage a fast-paced production schedule.
- Evaluate products, processes, information and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
- Adhere to health, safety practices and work environment standards with discipline and attention to detail.
- Prioritize workload, work independently with minimal supervision, and stay organized and self-motivated.
Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- No formal education or work experience required.
- Previous experience at a bakery, restaurant, or in a foodservice environment is a plus.
Work Availability
Must have the flexibility to work various shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on seasonal business demands.
Compensation
$14.00 – $16.00 per hour
