Due to our continuous growth at Notemachine, we are seeking skilled, trustworthy, and safety-conscious Cash-In Transit Drivers to join our team across our 3 depots (Glasgow, Manchester, and Thurrock). If you have experience in transport, logistics, field operations, or security – you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport cash, coin, and other valuables between our customers’ sites, ensuring every delivery runs smoothly.
  • CIT Drivers will perform first line maintenance on customers’ sites to ensure the ATM is left looking clean, tidy, professional, and in working order.
  • Replenish ATMs and cash machines in a professional manner to ensure communities have access to cash.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks, report any issues immediately, and ensure we are maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.
  • CIT Driver will follow strict security protocols and company procedures to protect yourself, your team, and our clients’ assets.
  • CIT Drivers will liaise with dispatchers and clients to ensure schedules run on time and expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of each transaction, including the amount of cash being transported and the location details.
  • Ability to handle any unforeseen situations in a professional manner promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the delivery schedules.

Qualifications

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Previous experience in security, field service, logistics, or similar (SIA is a plus, but not essential as full training is provided).
  • Great attention to detail, reliable and comfortable working independently.
  • Physically fit and confident handling valuables safely and securely.
  • Adaptable, with a flexible attitude to start as early from 04:30am, weekends, and occasional holiday shifts.
  • Must not have any live County Court Judgements (CCJs), Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs), or live bankruptcy declarations.
  • 2-years commercial driving experience (required) – ideally driving a 3.5 tonne van or similar vehicle.
