The Role

As Ecommerce Manager, you will own the online trading strategy for Noted Aromas responsible for every aspect of the website experience, from first click to checkout and beyond. You'll be the driving force behind conversion optimisation, site performance, and revenue growth, whilst ensuring a seamless, brand-right customer journey at every touchpoint.

This is a high-ownership role within a small, highly agile team. You'll bring serious commercial acumen, a data-led mindset, and the ability to move quickly and decisively. As the business internationalises, you'll take on full P&L responsibility across European territories managing localised site experiences and adapting strategy to new markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trading & Commercial Performance
  • Own the ecommerce trading calendar, coordinating product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns to maximise revenue and margin.
  • Take full P&L ownership across the UK site and upcoming European territories as the business scales internationally.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance metrics including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, sessions, and retention. Translating data into clear commercial actions.
  • Identify and act on growth opportunities through competitor analysis, market trends, and customer behaviour insight.
  • Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
    • Lead a continuous CRO programme designing, running, and analysing A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages, PDPs, checkout, and key site flows.
    • Own the customer journey end-to-end, identifying friction points and driving improvements that increase conversion and reduce drop-off.
    • Optimise product pages, collections, and merchandising for both conversion and brand experience.
    • Manage and improve on-site search, navigation, filtering, and product discovery.
  • Site Operations & UX
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Noted. Aromas Shopify site, ensuring it is always performant, accurate, and on-brand.
    • Partner with design and development resource to brief, manage, and deliver UX/UI improvements.
    • Manage the site content calendar, ensuring timely and accurate updates across campaigns, new arrivals, and seasonal moments.
    • Own site speed, technical health, and SEO performance in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Internationalisation & Multi-Territory Management
    • Lead the build-out and ongoing management of European ecommerce sites, including localisation of content, currency, pricing, and user experience.
    • Develop market-specific strategies that account for local customer behaviour, logistics, and trading dynamics.
    • Work cross-functionally with logistics, finance, and marketing to ensure international operations run smoothly and profitably.
  • Marketing & Channel Integration
    • Collaborate closely with performance marketing, CRM, and brand teams to ensure on-site experience is aligned with and optimised for campaigns across paid media, email, and social.
    • Ensure landing pages, editorial content, and on-site placements are built and optimised to support acquisition and retention activity.
    • Feed site performance data back into channel strategy to improve overall marketing ROI.

    About You

    • 3+ years experience in an ecommerce management role (preferably DTC brand).
    • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify essential).
    • Experience with analytics tools such as GA.
    • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
    • Experience with CRO, merchandising, and online promotions.
    • Strong project management and organisational skills.
