The predicted salary is between 10 - 13 £ per hour.
Part Time Temporary Fixed Term - 30 hours per week - To cover maternity leave. This will include working weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota with the rest of the team.
Competitive rate of pay - up to £12.83 per hour. It is anticipated this 9 month Temporary Fixed Term contract will commence on 2nd March 2026.
Notcutts is a family owned National Garden Centre group. Our restaurants are an important part of our garden centres and a significant reason for our customers to visit. We offer a range of freshly prepared dishes, all to exacting brand specifications, which have been created and developed by our very own award winning F&B Director.
We are looking for a driven, motivated, hands-on, and customer service focused Restaurant Supervisor to join and manage our experienced and friendly restaurant team.
- Manage every aspect of the restaurant business, including staff, training, standards, controls, opening and closing, cash handling, and customer service, working alongside the Restaurant Manager.
- Train, lead, develop, and inspire your team; help to control stock, wages and budgets; drive sales and maximise profitability.
- Work in a hands-on capacity and deliver a brilliant customer service experience at all times; work to Company targets and KPIs; maintain Company systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or Assistant Manager/Café/Catering Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a busy commercial customer facing operation.
- Excellent people, communication, and organisation skills.
- The ability to train, develop, and lead people and teams.
- Financial and commercial acumen, including P&L.
- A positive and outgoing personality and outlook; passion and drive to succeed.
- Recognise and comply with full industry legislation; IT literate - working with systems and processes.
