Notcutts is the third largest Garden Centre Group in the UK. We are recruiting an Outdoor/Horticultural Retail Assistant to work with our experienced team at our Notcutts Woodford Park Garden Centre.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in working to a high standard under pressure in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment. Ideally, the successful candidate will have recent experience working within a retail environment. A knowledge of plants and gardening and/or landscaping would be advantageous, however not essential as training will be given.
The role will involve working within our outdoor/horticultural department, re-stocking areas to maintain an organised and visually appealing layout which will involve manual heavy lifting. A huge interest in gardening is a large requirement of the role, along with providing advice and assistance to our customers. This makes the position ideal for a keen gardener who excels in delivering high levels of customer service. The successful candidate will also love being outdoors in all weather.
We offer a competitive rate of pay, training, free car parking, uniform, discounted food when on duty, and an employee assistance programme. So, if you pride yourself on giving great customer service, love everything gardening, and you want to work outdoors with an employer that cares, then please apply with your CV.
We regret that it is only practical to contact candidates who have been successful in their application. If you are selected for an interview you can expect to be contacted in due course. Thank you for the interest you have shown in Notcutts Garden Centres.
