Temporary Part Time - 30 hours per week. May include weekends and bank holidays. Immediate start through to 28th August 2026. A competitive rate of pay is available – above NMW/NLW pay rates.
This role will be best suited to candidates with previous grounds maintenance experience. Notcutts is one of the largest Garden Centre Groups in the UK. It is privately owned by the Notcutt family. With increased interest in gardening, the rise of celebrity gardeners and ‘grow your own’ it is an exciting time to be in the garden centre business.
This is a hands‑on position where you will help maintain the appearance and upkeep of our outdoor and indoor retail spaces. You will play a key role in ensuring the site remains clean, tidy, and visually appealing for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- General grounds maintenance across the site
- Weeding and upkeep of plant areas
- Sweeping and keeping pathways and working areas clean
- Supporting in‑store maintenance and presentation
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety at all times
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who takes pride in working to a high standard under pressure in a fast‑paced, continuously evolving environment. The successful candidate will have attention to detail and a keen interest in gardening. This role will also require an element of heavy lifting and physical work and working outdoors in all weather conditions. All equipment needed to perform the role will be provided.
