Not Just Care are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our customers in their own homes. This role requires effective communication skills, a good understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide updates on care and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress in accordance with care plans.
- Support healthcare professionals in delivering medical treatments and therapies as required.
- Drive patients to appointments or assist them in accessing community resources when necessary.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to IT systems used for patient documentation and care management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
