A growing children's residential care provider is seeking an experienced, values-driven Head of Recruitment to lead talent strategy across its Ofsted-regulated services.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands the unique demands of children's residential care and can build high-performing teams that deliver safe, stable and nurturing environments for young people.
What You'll Lead
- Workforce planning, forecasting and talent pipelines
- Attraction, selection and onboarding of Registered Managers, Deputies, Seniors and Support Workers
- Compliance-aligned recruitment processes (Ofsted, safer recruitment, safeguarding)
- Employer branding and candidate engagement across the West Midlands
- Partnerships with local authorities, universities, training providers and community networks
- Leadership of the internal recruitment team, driving performance and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- Strong experience recruiting within children's residential care / Ofsted services
- Deep understanding of safer recruitment, regulatory compliance and workforce standards
- Proven ability to build and scale recruitment functions
- Strategic mindset with hands-on capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work at pace and deliver high-quality hires in a competitive market
