We’re looking for a highly experienced General Manager to lead Nōshi’s day-to-day operation at the highest level. This is a senior role for a proven GM who understands premium dining and premium hospitality, can lead large teams through managers, and can drive both guest experience and commercial performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a premium, high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Demonstrable experience leading large teams (50+ staff) with a management structure beneath you (managers / supervisors / team leaders).
- Experience managing and developing senior leaders (e.g., Head Chef, AGM, Bar Manager, Restaurant Manager).
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience reporting to and working closely with Directors / senior leadership / Heads of Department.
- Deep understanding of premium hospitality standards: service detail, floor leadership, guest recovery, consistency, and atmosphere control.
- Strong commercial and operational capability, including: P&L understanding, labour control, GP/stock management, rota planning, cost control, upselling and KPI delivery.
- Confident decision-maker; calm under pressure; high standards; strong attention to detail.
- Clear communicator who can set expectations, hold accountability, and build a positive high-performance culture.

Your Role:
As General Manager, you will take full ownership of standards, people leadership, and performance across the entire business. You will:
- Lead all aspects of the operation across Front of House, Bar, and Kitchen alignment, ensuring a consistent premium guest experience every service.
- Directly manage the senior leadership team: Head Chef, Assistant General Manager, Bar Manager, Restaurant Manager, ensuring they deliver through their own team structures.
- Drive non-negotiable service standards: guest welcome, pacing, floor control, presentation, team conduct, guest recovery, and overall atmosphere.
- Build, train, and retain a high-performing team through structured coaching, pre-shifts, service debriefs, and performance management.
- Own commercial performance and delivery of KPIs, including sales growth, spend per head, labour %, GP, stock control, wastage reduction, and profitability.
- Ensure strong operational controls: rotas, staffing levels, compliance, H&S, licensing, cash handling, supplier standards, and daily/weekly reporting.
- Work closely with Directors to plan, report, and execute improvements — bringing solutions, structure, and consistent results.
