Join Nory, a restaurant technology company that blends real‑time data with AI predictive analytics to help operators control margins, forecast demand and schedule staff efficiently. We’re growing fast after a Series B round led by Kinnevik, and we need an experienced engineer to own and deliver high‑impact features for our Workforce Management (WFM) product.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer end‑to‑end WFM features, from planning and design to shipping, support and operation.
- Develop sophisticated labour forecasting tools that predict staffing needs using ML/AI.
- Evolve our data model to support complex scheduling patterns, labour rules and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the Data team on scheduling AI that balances business needs, employee preferences and labour laws.
- Integrate with payroll and HR systems to create a seamless experience across the employee lifecycle, building robust APIs and data pipelines.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of production‑level experience as a full‑stack engineer, comfortable with modern frameworks, APIs and databases.
- Strong systems thinking and design skills; you contribute to technical architecture and design scalable systems.
- Product‑mindset; you understand customer problems, shape solutions that drive value and proactively improve the user experience.
- Ownership, autonomy and startup readiness; you act with urgency, thrive in ambiguity and unblock yourself and others to maintain momentum.
