Let’s fix hospitality, for good. Hospitality is tough – margins are thin, waste is high, and teams are stretched. But it doesn’t have to be this hard. That’s why we built Nory.
Nory is an all-knowing restaurant management system. It blends real-time data with AI predictive analytics, giving operators control of their margins. From food prep to forecasting, it’s operational intelligence that helps restaurants run with consistency, certainty, and profit. The result? Thriving restaurants, better jobs, less waste, healthier margins.
We’re looking for a hands-on Interim Head of People (starting June 2026, finishing mid January 2027) to keep our crew flying through this next stage of growth. This role will report to the acting VP People & Talent.
What you’ll do:
- This is a senior role partnering with leaders across the organisation. You’ll be the cultural and operational anchor – balancing day-to-day with the big shifts that come post-Series B: scaling, performance, and culture.
- Partner with leaders and managers to keep your finger on the pulse – you’ll provide pragmatic advice, no fluff, grounded in best practice, operational excellence and a solid knowledge of employment law.
- Coach managers to lead with impact. Focus intensely on building a feedback culture and enabling managers at Nory.
- Within the fixed term period, you will be the second in command to the VP People & Talent and work alongside him to drive strategic People priorities: overhauling our Performance review process to be AI-enabled, defining our total rewards strategy and overseeing the implementation and roll out of our new global payroll system and HRIS, Rippling.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle and challenge the status quo - we are looking for someone who wants to drive continuous improvement and iterations to ensure the best possible employee experience.
- Protect and grow our high-performance culture – outcomes clear, accountability strong, values lived.
- Lean into supporting hiring processes and delivering on our H2 2026 workforce plan.
What you bring:
- You’ve led People in a startup / you are an operationally strong Senior People Partner who thrives when taking ownership to make a positive difference and you are now looking to step into your first Head of role.
- You know what it takes to build structure without slowing things down and feel confident setting priorities to unblock yourself.
- You love building high-performance teams and you’ve got the scars (and wins) from doing it at pace.
- You’re AI-native – you don’t just tolerate new tools, you grab them to supercharge how we hire, onboard and scale.
- You’re organised and resilient, but never rigid – you flex as things shift, keeping an eye on both today’s fires and tomorrow’s growth.
- You're an expert in UK employment law. Bonus points for Ireland and US experience.
- Bonus points if you have experience in US International Expansion and know how to make new markets click, culturally and operationally.
- Bonus points if you have experience working with Rippling.
- Above all, you bring energy, urgency and ownership – the drive to keep Nory scaling fast without losing focus or culture.
What you’ll get in return:
- Competitive salary
- Meaningful equity, at Nory everyone is an owner!
- 35 days of paid leave per year (including bank holidays)
- Comprehensive private health insurance via Irish Life (Ireland) and Axa (UK)
- Enhanced parental leave and baby loss support
- Learning & development culture – €1000 personal annual budget + quarterly book budget
- €250 home office workspace budget
- Regular team offsites & socials
- Work from anywhere for up to 3 months of the year
- Offices in London
- And much more
