The purpose of this role is to oversee the delivery of care and support within the home to ensure high quality of service provided. To assist the Manager in the day to day running of services for Adults with Learning Disabilities and other needs. To lead the team delivering a person-centred service through Active Support with a commitment to Lifelong Learning and independence for all.
The ideal candidate must be a great communicator, work well within a team and have strong time management and leadership skills. About the home at Ilford: The property is a small block of three flats. Each flat has its own kitchen, bathroom and lounge. There are communal rooms of a lounge which looks out on the back garden, kitchen, bathroom with walk in shower and laundry room. Here, we support five residents with moderate learning disabilities. It has an office for staff administration and sleep in shifts. The location is close to the town centre which has shops and local amenities with easy access to public transport. Parking is available on the driveway.

Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in Care and Support of Adults with Learning Disabilities
- Experience in person centred planning and risk assessment
- QCF Level 3 or NVQ 3 or willingness to work towards a relevant care qualification
- Knowledge of current legislation
- Excellent leadership skills
- Effective communicator
