We’re looking for reliable, safety-focused Drivers to join Norwood on a bank/casual basis, supporting the safe and comfortable transport of people we support. This is a flexible role and you will provide support across our London Adult services where you’ll play a key part in enabling individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and neurodevelopmental needs to access their community, attend activities, and stay connected. You’ll be trusted to manage journeys independently while ensuring every trip is safe, respectful, and well organised.

Your Day-to-Day You’ll:

  • Safely transport passengers using Norwood vehicles
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of passengers at all times
  • Plan routes effectively and keep accurate journey records
  • Carry out vehicle safety checks, reporting defects and arranging maintenance
  • Support the safe use of wheelchair lifts and securing equipment
  • Respond calmly to incidents, breakdowns or unexpected changes
  • Keep vehicles clean, safe and roadworthy
  • Work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Support with light administration linked to transport where required
