About the Role
At Norwood, successful recruitment starts with strong relationships. We're looking for a proactive and commercially-minded Recruiter who thrives on building trusted partnerships with hiring managers and creating outstanding experiences for candidates. You won't simply manage vacancies. You'll act as a dedicated recruitment partner to your business areas, developing a deep understanding of their vacancy needs, challenges and priorities. Through regular engagement, market insight and expert advice, you'll help managers attract and appoint the right people while ensuring every candidate receives a professional, inclusive and positive experience. Working with the Head of Recruitment, you'll support the delivery of Norwood's attraction strategy and Employer Value Proposition, helping us connect with the best talent who share our values and want to make a difference to people we support.
Your Day-to-Day
- Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers across designated services and departments.
- Act as the first point of contact and recruitment advisor for managers, providing guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Hold regular vacancy planning and pipeline meetings with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and agree recruitment strategies.
- Deliver a proactive, end-to-end recruitment service from attraction through to onboarding.
- Create positive candidate experiences through timely communication, relationship building and effective stakeholder management.
- Develop and deliver targeted attraction campaigns using a variety of sourcing channels and recruitment marketing techniques.
- Attend recruitment events, careers fairs and community engagement activities to promote Norwood as an employer of choice.
- Use labour market intelligence and recruitment data to provide insight and recommendations to managers.
- Champion inclusive, values-led and person-centred recruitment practices.
- Work closely with People Coordinators to ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience.
