Full time position - 40 hours a week. Monday-Friday, some out of hours work if/when required. Coventry, Litchfield, Wolverhampton area. Salary: £36k-£43k dependent on skills and qualifications. Must have a driving licence.

The electrician will be responsible for performing electrical work related to maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and providing electrical engineering support. The successful candidate will be expected to perform daily duties as assigned by supervisors and complete all tasks with precision and excellence. The successful candidate will be working on commercial sites on various different maintenance contracts. You will be required to work both alone and under your own initiative and/or within a team on contracts that could include but are not limited to hospitals, public houses, schools, restaurants, hotels, banks, courthouses, etc.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Electricity skills
  • Skills in Electrical Work including knowledge and practical application of electrical regulations and safety guidelines
  • Skills in maintenance & repair including knowledge and practical application of electrical systems
  • Troubleshooting skills for identifying and correcting electrical issues using various instruments, tools and methods
  • Skills in Electrical Engineering, including design and testing, willingness to learn
  • Ability to handle physically demanding work and work at heights
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in the electrical industry is preferred
  • Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications are required
  • Must have knowledge of IT skills due to admin tasks that must be fulfilled weekly
