Job Title: Client Care Administrator (receptionist)

Salary: £12.33 per hour

Location: Norwood veterinary group, HU17 9HB

Job Type: Permanent, part-time

Hours: 38 hours per week, on average, including some weekend morning shifts

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist to join the fantastic team at Norwood Vets in Beverley. We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and provide support to our friendly team.

This is a busy, varied role so previous experience would be preferable but not required. Ideal applicants will be computer literate, confident and want to grow within the role, and we offer funded training, including courses with the BVRA, to support this.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the practice diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.
  • Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.
  • Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.
  • Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
  • Processing prescription requests.
  • Taking payments.
  • Promoting offers and services.
  • Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.
