Responsibilities

  • This post will contribute to the future direction and curriculum for our Marketing and Business Management awards and will have a role in developing and delivering innovative teaching.
  • The successful applicant will be an excellent teacher who puts inclusivity at the heart of their practice and will promote the courses to prospective students and teachers, both at home and internationally.
  • They will have the ability to work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, bringing diverse voices into the student experience and ensuring we provide culturally competent support.
  • The role requires delivering real‑world marketing campaigns and/or entrepreneurial ventures from initial concept through to execution, encompassing strategic planning and operational delivery.

Qualifications

  • Subject expertise in strategic brand building, business innovation and/or multi‑channel marketing with demonstrable experience in delivering real‑world marketing campaigns and/or entrepreneurial ventures.
  • Prior Higher Education teaching experience and/or module leadership experience within a creative institution is advantageous.
  • Expertise with industry technology and software (e.g., analytics platforms) is desirable.

The appointment will be made at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level depending on the successful candidate’s experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: Lecturer £23,270.40 to £27,629.40 per annum, pro‑rated from a full‑time equivalent salary of £38,784 to £46,049 per annum.
  • Senior Lecturer £28,433.40 to £33,921 per annum, pro‑rated from a full‑time equivalent salary of £47,389 to £56,535 per annum.
