Role Description
We are looking for an experienced project / events co‑ordinator to create an exciting program of talks and workshops for our members writing group.
We are based in Norwich and meet twice a month.
They would be part of the Events and Program team, working alongside the Online Program Co‑ordinator and committee.
We are looking for an In Person Co‑ordinator who would need to be located locally to Norwich as they would have to attend the Norwich monthly meetings.
An interest within the Writing community and experience working with a committee would be essential.
Qualifications
Program Management and Program Development skills to design, coordinate, and provide a varied schedule of writing activities.
Project Management abilities to plan timelines, manage resources, and ensure successful delivery of events and initiatives.
Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with members, speakers, partners, and volunteers.
Customer Service skills to provide a welcoming, responsive experience for writers of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Comfort working on‑site, including monthly evening and occasional weekend events as required by the programme schedule.
Experience in arts, education, community organizations, or event coordination is beneficial.
