Role Description

The Creative Engagement and Audiences Manager supports the Head of Creative Engagement in achieving the Creative Engagement Strategy. As Norwich Theatre expands our creative programme to engage new and existing audiences and develops our co-created approach to large-scale community events, this role will further our impact and build deeper connections with new audiences with a programme of public activities and large-scale community events.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Creative Engagement and Audiences Manager is responsible for project management and high-quality delivery of civic and public programmes, which aim to engage with new visitors, in line with the Creative Engagement Strategy and achievement of its key performance indicators.

  • Support colleagues in developing services which meet the organisation’s aims in regard to audience engagement and development.
  • Proactively contribute to a culture of collaboration and partnership with other departments within the organisation, and with external partners to support innovation, excellence and reach.
  • Maintain good professional relationships and communication with all team members across all areas of the organisation.
  • Represent the organisation externally through networking and events as required.
  • Establish and develop professional working relationships with individuals, organisations and groups to support the delivery of such programmes including partnerships with professionals from other organisations.
  • Develop community co-creation approaches to large-scale events and projects.
