Overview
We have a great opportunity for a System Development Officer within the Systems Development Team. Working closely with service areas and project teams to develop and support IT applications within the authority. Job Description
To support the NEC Revenues & Benefits, Uniform GMS and Profess IT systems. Support the Planning and regulatory services Project team, configuring additional Uniform modules within the system in line with the Council\’s transformation programme. This will include assisting in the managing, maintaining and the security of application and software administration.
Responsibilities
- You will be using software functionality to help redesign, build and deliver new ways of working across the whole council.
- You will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues across the council to promote a culture of continuous improvement and good governance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent IT skills, and a good working knowledge of council IT systems, specifically Uniform and/or NEC Revenues & Benefits.
- Educational Requirements: Relevant professional/technical qualification or proven relevant IT experience working with specialist business applications.
