Key responsibilities:
- Locksmith: gain entry, repair and change all types of manual locks
- Carry out standard and complex surveys
- Create templates
- Cutting and processing glass; scoring, polishing, grinding
- Fitting all types of glazing using correct techniques, fittings and materials - including double-glazed units, doors, showers, balustrades, splashbacks and mirrors
- Loading and unloading glass and materials
- Emergency call outs: locksmith and glazing; make safes, board ups and filming
- Provide advice and guidance to customers when choosing glass products and installations
- Follow all health and safety regulations and policies, escalating issues and near misses
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Company van, tools and mobile phone provided (for work purposes)
This role will require: DBS checks, CSCS accreditation and mandatory training including first aid (at the Company’s expense)
Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role is preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates willing to learn
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise work
Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights safely
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
