Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join the Academy Performance Analysis Department at Norwich City Football Club. The role involves working within our Professional Development Phase with the U18s.

The ideal candidates will be committed and hard-working, with a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge alongside effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Academy Performance Analyst, Academy Coaching Team and Academy Manager to ensure all Performance Analysis services within the Academy run efficiently for players, coaches, and all staff.

Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the implementation of Performance Analysis support services across the Academy including an opposition analysis framework, live match analysis and post-match debriefing at team and individual level.
  • Provide analytical and technical support on U18 match days (both home and away).
  • Drive consistency across all Performance Analysis working practices and support club alignment, promoting collaboration.
  • Work closely with the MDT to assist on individual development plans (IDPs).
  • Assist in the storing of longitudinal video examples and data insights which can be readily available when requested.
  • Assist in writing and continually updating the department’s standard operating procedures (SOP) documents.
  • Execute additional tasks as required to meet the football club’s changing priorities.

Essential

  • MSc Degree in a Performance Analysis-related subject.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in elite football.
  • Excellent knowledge and expertise of industry standard performance analysis software’s, specifically the Hudl Suite.

Desirable

  • UEFA C Coaching Licence
  • Talent ID Level 2
