Key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Delivery of the goalkeeping curriculum
- Oversee and develop phase specific goalkeeping curriculums
- Conduct staff and player reviews every 6‑12 weeks dependent on phase
- Assist in the identification and recruitment within the Foundation, Youth Development and Professional Development Phases of talented goalkeepers in the Academy system
- Produce and record formal session plans for every session delivered
- Administration within the goalkeeping department
- Promote safer working practice and maintain a culture whereby safeguarding is recognised as a shared responsibility
- Act in a manner that supports the Club’s Values of Growth, Integrity, Belonging, Resilience, Pride and Commitment
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- FA Youth Award (Level 3)
- Goalkeeping Coaching B Licence
- UEFA B Licence
- Licence Maintenance
Desirable
- Teaching Qualification (preferably PE/Sport)
- Degree / Masters / Postgraduate in Sports Science
- Goalkeeping Coaching A Licence
- UEFA A Licence
- Experience as a Goalkeeper at Academy/Semi‑Professional/Professional Level
- Experience as a Goalkeeping Youth/Head Coach at Senior Amateur/Senior Semi‑Professional/Professional Football
