Norwich City Council is seeking a proactive and organised Prevention Support Officer to help support our prevention and early intervention agenda. You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of programmes that tackle health and financial inequalities, embed prevention and early intervention, and strengthen neighbourhood-level health integration.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of prevention projects within the Independent Living team, providing data analysis, stakeholder engagement and project delivery support and working collaboratively with delivery teams.
  • Work closely with the Support NoW project to identify residents most in need of support, with project management and interpersonal skills being key.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and evaluation of prevention and early intervention outcomes.
  • Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagement, and partnership activities, and support communication between officers, partners, and communities.
  • Develop excellent relationships across the council and with statutory, voluntary sector and community partners.
