This role leads the Foundation’s Alternative Provision education offering, supporting pupils at risk of exclusion or long-term school absence.
Objectives
- To deliver a high-quality alternate education provision.
- To lead on student recruitment and host school liaison
- To support young people to achieve positive outcomes & sustainable exit pathways.

Knowledge, skills and experience – essential
- A relevant teaching qualification including PTTLS, CTLLS or DTLLS
- Experience working with vulnerable and at-risk young people & adults
- Experience in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making and evaluate project outcomes
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to remain calm in challenging environments
- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment as a line manager
Knowledge, skills and experience – desirable
- A bachelor\’s degree in a relevant field such as education or community development, sport youth work, social work
- Knowledge & experience of delivering community projects
- Strong knowledge of Safeguarding & Risk assessments.
- Proven track record of managing projects, achieving budgets & KPIs.
