We are seeking coaches to deliver across our weekend provision.

Job Title: Community Coach

Salary: Session and experience dependant

Contract Type: Casual

Line Manager: Operations Manager

Role Summary: To plan and deliver outstanding experiences to participants in the Foundation’s various weekend programmes and initiatives, in line with our DNA, values and behaviours.

Objectives:

  • To deliver a range of sessions to various participants and groups across our weekend delivery portfolio including; Football Skill Centres, Mini Kickers, Football Birthday Parties, Challenge Woods Parties and Match Day Clubs.
  • To plan appropriate activities based on the needs of the specific programme and participants individual needs
  • To adhere to the Foundations safeguarding, EDI and health and safety requirements

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential

  • Experience of planning and delivering coaching sessions and programmes
  • Experience of coaching in different environments including community-based programme
  • NGB level one award in coaching or similar
  • Experience of working with young people in a sports environment
  • Ability to manage different groups effectively and safely
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable

  • Knowledge of how young people learn and develop
  • NGB level two certificate in coaching or similar
  • Ability to differentiate to meet individual participant needs
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
