The responsibility of the Café Supervisor is to support the Catering Manager with the day-to-day operations within the café and Clubhouse kitchen, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth operations, and a positive work environment.
Objectives:
- Ensure high standards of catering for all events, residentials, conferences, and general café service.
- Maintain and grow The Nest catering brand to increase new and repeat business.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Essential:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Desirable:
- Experience with POS systems.
- Barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation.
