The responsibility of the Café Assistant is to support the day-to-day operations of the café, providing excellent customer service, preparing barista-style coffees and basic café food, handling transactions, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with residential catering as needed.
Objectives
Deliver a high-quality, friendly café experience for all customers through efficient service and attention to detail.
Support the wider catering team by contributing to food preparation and service for residential and event-based catering.
Knowledge, skills and experience – Essential
Friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
Strong customer service skills with a positive, \”can-do\” attitude.
Basic food preparation skills and willingness to learn.
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
