We have an opportunity for an apprentice to join our Equine Team, completing the Level 3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship standard. Based at our Easton Campus, the successful candidate will support the work of the Equine Centre and curriculum area. Duties will include supporting equine husbandry, record keeping, health monitoring, exercise, ensuring horses are cared for to the highest welfare/ industry standards, and assisting in the running of activities at the College's Equine Centre.
The apprenticeship is delivered by Poultec, and you will be provided with off the job training opportunities during the working week. The apprenticeship standard includes a Level 3 Diploma in Work-based Horse Care and Management, plus Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
